Sahida holds a Master's in Economics from the University of Toamasina, and has taken leadership training with EAM (Enfances Actions Madagascar) and YMCA. She worked a couple years as portfolio manager at a bank, and has excellent computer skills.

She enjoys working in a team, and is keen to apply her skills to conservation work with Fandroakando in her home town of Maroantsetra.

Sahida speaks Malagasy and French fluently, and has a working knowledge of English.
