Mohamed's university career led him to obtain a degree in management, which opened the doors to different positions related to this field. However, his real journey into conservation and development began during his experience as a social mobilization assistant at CARE, following a natural disaster that struck Maroantsetra at the time. During this period, he actively contributed to the establishment of numerous infrastructures such as roads, bridges, schools and hospitals. In addition, he supported the improvement of sources of income for project beneficiary households by promoting the creation of numerous income-generating activities, in response to the needs of the local population.
Within MNP (Madagascar National Parks), both in Masoala and Nosy Hara, Mohamed became aware of the crucial importance of environmental protection. This awareness turned into a true passion, and he has since devoted much of his efforts to this cause, aware of its impact on future generations.
The experiences which Mohamed has acquired throughout his professional career have allowed him to specialize in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the monitoring of biodiversity conservation activities, notably using SMART software. These skills are invaluable assets that will be greatly appreciated in achieving Fandroakando's objectives. In addition, his experience in mobilizing teams and local communities in natural resource management and local development constitutes a major asset for the success of future projects.
Mohamed’s passionate commitment to nature conservation coupled with a set of key skills will be valuable to Fandroakando’s mission.
