Our Mission

We are a local NGO dedicated to the conservation of endemic flora and fauna of the Rabondro Reserve, in the north-east of Madagascar.

• Over 90% of of all species found in Madagascar are endemic, found nowhere else in the world.
• In the last 60 years, almost half of Madagascar's natural forests have disappeared.
• Forests are fragmented, posing an ecological threat to this unique biodiversity.

Fandroakando: A person who cherishes that early morning walk through the jungle to spot wildlife, and observes the morning dew dissipating from the rainforest trees.
